Export Vacation & Personal appointments to Excel

Background

Sometimes it's useful to have a filtered spreadsheet of personal time for employees for payroll or vacation tracking purposes.

Step-by-step

  1. Select Calendar::View Calendar. Click the Options... button
  2. Change these settings:
    • Activity Types = Appointment
    • Display type = Day by Display Field

  3. Click Select Fields... Delete unnecessary fields and select Activity::Assigned To, Appointment::Appointment Category & Activity::Duration. Click OK

  4. Click the Add Filter... button. Select Appointment Field and select the desired categories (your categories may differ). OK

  5. Select the results with mouse and/or shift key. Copy & paste into Excel.
