Printing inventory labels with Word and Excel
JobTracker Inventory Edition has built-in support for printing labels - but if you're using a spreadsheet to track your inventory, you can print labels pretty easily using Word and Excel. This video shows you how.
If you're about to transition from a spreadsheet to JobTracker Inventory Edition, you still might want to use this approach to get your labels printed before you do the import. Labeling hundreds of slabs at once is a painstaking process no matter how you do it - and there are advantages to having that out of the way before you start the upgrade process.
One note of caution - if you plan to use a barcoding solution from one of our partners, be sure to test your label format with your barcode wand before printing all of them out!
