Troubleshooting printing problems

Printing problems can be a little challenging to address sometimes, because there are several moving parts - you're dealing with a browser, a pdf viewer/plug-in, your operating system, the printer itself ... a lot of different things can go wrong. Our friendly support team can help you address issues with forms, formatting, etc., but often printing problems are outside the scope of help we can provide - in those cases, you might have to bring in your IT consultant or take your computer to something like Geek Squad for more help.

These troubleshooting steps will help you determine where the problem lies.

  1. Can you print anything from the computer? Open a program like Word or notepad, type a couple of words, and see if you can get it to print. If not, you have a problem that might require outside IT help.
  2. Can you print anything from the browser? Click ctrl-P on this page and see if you can get it to print. If not, you might try printing from another browser (perhaps Chrome or Firefox). Otherwise, you have a problem that might require outside IT help.
  3. Can you print a pdf from your browser? Open this pdf from the Internet and see if you can get it to print. If not, you might try a different browser, or you might try installing or re-installing Adobe Reader. If that doesn't work, you have a problem that might require outside IT help.

If you can successfully print a pdf from your browser (as in Step 3 above), but something isn't working right when printing from Moraware, then search the printing help for CounterGo or JobTracker or contact us at support@moraware.com with more details of your problem.

Note one specific issue related to printing seams in CounterGo - the Chrome browser has a bug that sometimes doesn't show these correctly.
