Reset another JobTracker user's password
Requires Administrator security privilege
From time-to-time a user may forget their password and need to have it reset.
Note: If the user has an email address associated with their account, that user can reset their own password via the Forgot your password? link on the login screen, as long as Cannot Change Password is not enabled for that user.
- Select Admin::Users menu
- In the User Name column, click the User Name and select Set Password... menu
- New Password: Enter new password for the employee to use to sign on to JobTracker
- Confirm Password: Enter same password for verification (avoids typos)
